Cat’s has been in the fitness industry for almost 24 years. Her journey began when she was in graduate school for physics. She would spend her days in the lab, teaching physics classes and studying…a ton. She realized she didn’t smile all day until she took a Turbo Kick class. Her favorite instructors encouraged her to start teaching, and she then realized a special part of her personality was able to shine through whenever she put the microphone on. Since then, Cat has worked with over 3,000 students fit fitness into their daily lives.

Cat Myklebust was an Area Promotions Director and Presenter for Chalene Johnson’s former company Powder Blue productions. Then she was a Master Trainer for BeachBody in Turbo Kick, PiYo, CIZE and INSANITY training hundreds of new instructors how to teach these formats. Cat lead and taught in dozens of instructor videos where she would train BeachBody Live instructors on how to teach the new choreography to their students.

When Cat was pregnant, she realized how little information there was for prenatal fitness. The information that was available was either outdated or just wrong. She created Baby Bump Bootcamp, a fitness program for moms to be that focusing on labor training and functional strength.

Cat believes that exercise should be fun; it should be something that complements your life, not take it over. With Cat’s quick and effective workouts that range from functional strength to HIITs to dance, you’ll be able to fit in a workout without even having to leave your house. She uses exercise to help you honor and cherish the strength in your body.

You will see in many of the workouts, Cat is joined by her husband, Trey and/or her kids Leo and Cici. As a busy mom of two, Cat understands the importance of quick and effective workouts but also that, if you have little ones (no matter the age!), they might be joining you as well. So include your kids, include your significant other (or don’t because sometimes you need your own time too!) and know that it’s ok to make it a family workout.

Join the family, Cat’s fitness family, because once you sweat together, you’re family.
